- Contoured contact points follow both sides of the upper trapezius.
- A raised, curved base supports the head and neck while you gradually settle into pressure.
- Two flexible sides can widen slightly to accommodate different shoulder widths.
- The substantial 5.5 lb silicone body stays stable during use and recovers after compression.
- Non-electric, UK-patented design backed by a 15-year warranty.
Best for: People who prefer firm, sustained pressure and are comfortable adjusting their own body position.
Not ideal for: Anyone looking for a soft neck pillow, vibration, powered kneading, or a lightweight travel tool.
I’m totally amazed at how quickly this helped my neck and shoulders. I’ve suffered for years with the dreaded menopausal frozen shoulder and awful neck pain as well. Have tried a ridiculous number of pillows that haven’t helped at all. Even have upgraded my mattress and got an adjustable bed frame. This thing?? Wow! After the first use, I could immediately tell a difference. Used it twice the first day, and slept with much less pain that night. I’m already impressed. It’s been so long since I’ve been able to turn my head without pain I can’t even remember when didn’t hurt. I’m not cured, but after two days I’m definitely feeling better. I’ll 100% say it’s made a much bigger difference than professional massage therapy or acupuncture ever has. Now the bad part…it hurts like a mother trucker!! I am positive it will get easier and less painful with use, but it’s most definitely uncomfortable. But with the immediate results I’ve already had I can say it’s absolutely worth it. It’s worth the pain, and the money. You know how sometimes you wish you could have somebody stretch that muscle right at the base of your skull? Yeah, it hits that perfectly! My husband tried it and didn’t like it at all, didn’t last a minute on it. He said it was too uncomfortable and he couldn’t see how something that caused pain could be worth it. I’ll just say after walking around with the chronic pain I’ve had for years I’m ready to try almost anything, and this thing has me feeling optimistic! So I give it five stars! It’s well made, very sturdy, stable and heavy. Just know that if you are already suffering with pain it’s definitely not going to be comfortable from the get go, but probably worth it in the long term. I’m confident it’s helping me anyway.Maybe I’ll update after a month.
Love it!!!It helps so much with the tension n my shoulders and neck are.
So my trapezius muscle tightness responds to massage temporarily, but unfortunately I can’t get a pro massage everyday, and my shoulder has been very painful causing neck pain, and occasional tingling in my arm.I tried this massager last night for about an hour, leaning into the couch (so not even a firm surface like the floor). I woke up pain free all day, even thru a stressful workday (which usually caused my shoulder to tighten up). I hope it’s a lasting effect, and I’ll continue to use it daily at the end of my evening. It may not work for everyone, but it’s the first (at home) treatment that has had any lasting value! Here’s to hoping it lasts!
I suffer from an assortment of issues (including occipital neuralgia) that cause great pain and tension in my shoulders, upper back and neck, and I have all sorts of tools and gizmos to help me help myself. I have found that most mechanical things wear out too quickly, especially considering the amount of pressure it requires to find relief sometimes, so this time I wanted something manual so I got to searching.I found this and thought it was a bit pricey so I looked at all the different versions and knockoffs available, paying close attention to specs and reading all of the reviews before deciding to buy this one. I knew from the reviews that it was possible I wouldn’t be shaped right for this to be properly suited for me but decided it was worth the risk. I pay this much for professional massages when I’m able to and there have been times I left the table unsatisfied, so I figured this was worth the money however it turned out.I am so thankful that I did because this thing is incredible! At first it was painful, but once I got the placement figured out it was a much better kind of painful, the kind that I was desperate to feel! I spent less than 10 minutes with it, as I know I need to work my way up, and I did move around on it a good bit and found some really good spots. After that I used my thera cane on some shoulder spots where it didn’t quite get and did some light stretching. That gave me SO MUCH RELIEF!!!! I can’t even believe it.
I don’t know what sorcery this is, but after weeks of suffering with pain in my upper trapezius, for which I tried stretching and mobility, different massage contraptions, tens unit, cupping, kinesio tape and ibuprofen around the clock this thingy was able to relieve my pain after just one use. Now I just lay on it for 5mins in the morning and can go about my day almost pain free! Highly recommend!
